  1. When this episode aired, I wasn’t satisfied. Not even a little bit. Being away from Jiu-Jitsu, a sport I love, showed me how much confidence and self-efficacy it gives me. I had lost direction and commitment to my goals, for the first time in over two years.

Jiu-Jitsu holds me accountable to stay consistent and motivated in the gym. It grounds me, humbles me, and shows me who I CAN be.

Every 90 days for the past four years, I’ve done a quick and gentle ten day cleanse from AdvoCare. This time around, I needed the toxins that build up in my digestive system OUT more than ever before. In complete transparency, even trainers lose their way, their passion, and purpose for their workouts. Never again! This was the reset and jumpstart I need to remind myself that anything is possible. I CAN. I WILL. ACHIEVE. All of my goals. “You don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.”

One step at a time, one workout at a time, one pound at a time. Thank you Meghann for jumping on the Believe Be Real Be Bold- Authentic Dating podcast to share your inspiring story of Gray Area Drinking, a thought that’s been on my mind and heart for over a year. In 2017, I gave up beer for 9 months, and I never felt better. Nothing in my life makes me feel lower for days than alcohol, even one or two glasses of wine per week. Help me be held accountable guys, 90 days of no alcohol started ten days ago. Thanks in advance! Who’s coming with me?
