A Picture Is Worth a 1000 Words with Lisa Craig

What comes to mind when you see an online dating profile where the first picture is a mirror selfie?! Is it an immediate swipe right? Or left?

Lisa Craig is a local Denver photographer who’s mission is to capture memories, eradicate bad dating profile pictures, and build personal brands.

She believes that people are held back from starting meaningful relationships because their online dating profile pictures are tragic. In some cases, they are using old, outdated pictures from a younger time. In other cases, they are simply snapping a selfie in the bathroom or gym mirror. Lisa shares with us her expertise that none of these helps to make a good first impression or helps to showcase their true self.

My big takeaways from our conversation today were…

I found myself saying “Nope. Nope. Nope.” outloud when I was swiping on Tinder, Bumble, or Hinge!

When we are authentically dating, we are our own brand.

When you’re walking down the road and you do a double take… that’s what it should feel like when someone sees your pictures online!

Without a good picture, no one is going to want to meet your awesomeness.
