Mark Genco recently received a black belt in Jiu-Jitsu, earned a masters degree in Buddhist studies, and published a book called Inner Jiu-Jitsu. He was kind enough to take time away from his full time teaching job to swing by the Fit Life Champions studio to be a guest on the Aspire Higher Podcast. We discuss life off the mat, the mental, physical, and emotional benefits of Jiu-Jitsu, and finally reached a conclusion on positive vs. negative thoughts.

Whether you look to be successful in one area of your life or all, Jiu-Jitsu teaches us skills that we use off the mat on a daily basis.  Humbling, motivating, and inspiring, the gentle art empowers us to grow personally and professionally every day.
