How to Start a Podcast

When I began my podcast back in 2018, I had one vision for recording each episode. To educate listeners on what authentic dating in the modern era was like in Denver, Co. What will the mission of your podcast be?

Over the next three years as I learned more about myself and the nuances of sexuality, dating, love, and romance was all about, my vision changed as well. I had interviewed over 150 experts from all over the world that had written best sellers, spoken on a Ted Talk stage, and had counseled 1,000 of clients over decades of work.

And the original message of the podcast went international! Listened to in 83 countries and after 10s of thousands of downloads, I was full to the brim with knowledge and just knew deep inside that I had more to share with the world.

So the Believe Be Real Be Bold podcast for authentic dating evolved into the challenger podcast. And I love it more than I ever have over the course of that time.

I believe that is because I narrowed my focus to be deeper than authentic dating to educate listeners in how the following four pillars of personal growth can powerfully impact their relationships! We now focus entirely on these foundational principles:

Self-awareness– understanding yourself and your needs is the fastest way to developing healthier relationships with loved ones, friends, and coworkers. We will work through the following personal growth tools to help support deeper connection with the people you care about most.

Attachment Style– attachment theory has a foundation in understanding how our lives and experiences contribute to adult attachments; primarily romantic relationships and we also see greater relationships created between children and their caregivers when self-awareness grows through your attachment style.

The Enneagram– is a typing system that has been around for centuries and has become increasingly popular as a tool to improve communication in relationships between couples. Understanding yourself through the lens of The Enneagram improves relationship to self and others while promoting compassion for yourself and forgiveness of others.

Leadership– leadership development within your relationship container is of utmost importance so that you can have clarity around who you are and what you contribute to yourself and your partner. We will begin with self-leadership through this program as we progress from week one to week five with resources to work with on your own.

Below is an in depth layout of the system I created to launch, produce, and share my podcast which eventually became a business with monthly income coaching busy adults that want more out of their romantic relationships in a group setting.

Just enter your name and email for a copy of the google doc that lays out the five weeks leading up to your first episode launching soon!

Week 1: We begin by uncovering your mission for your podcast from the content to the flow of each episode which will in turn lead to growing the audience to include raving fans that share your podcast with people they know.

Week 2: We progress by establishing a plan of action that will make it easy to promote, edit, and produce your podcast on a schedule that doesn’t take up a whole day.

Week 3: We collaboratively put in place new goals that support your values and help you grow an audience over time without spending any money on advertising.

Week 4: We develop a plan that will highlight your unique message so that the audience knows exactly what they will hear each week which keeps them coming back for more!

Week 5: We encourage continued growth by asking for reviews and rating to boost the content in the podcast libraries on multiple platforms.

If this feels like what you need to get your podcast up and running, grab your copy of the in depth system now by plugging in your information below.
